Please enjoy our carefully placed signage around the property – Ie. Welcome sign (contact info, wifi), Bathroom Rules, Hot Tub Rules etc. These are provided for your information & safety.
The booking guest must sign our guest log upon arrival. This is a township requirement plus its great to see all the different visitors and what areas they come from.
Respect The Host’s check-in and check-out times. This ensures a smooth transition between guests. Check-In and Check-Out times can be changed. Flexibility is appreciated, but any deviations from the scheduled times should be agreed upon in advance and may incur additional fees. Check in time is 4pm, Check out time is 11am
No unauthorized or extra guests allowed unless discussed. Unauthorized guests represent a breach of trust and a liability risk. Guest count cannot exceed 12. The guest who books a stay must be a minimum of 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay.
No parties or events unless approved by the host
Guests must not change any locks or codes within the cottage
No furniture moving allowed. This could result in damaging the floors and walls.
No Smoking and Vaping allowed Indoors
Smoking or Vaping is allowed outdoors – ash trays are provided and it is the responsibility of the renter to dispose of this type garbage (into bins in the garage) when checking out.
Excessive Noise Not Permitted- Control Outdoor Noise After 10pm. Respect the other neighbours on the island. Noise By law in effect from 10pm-7am. Have fun but please be respectful and use common sense. Noise-by-law-2022-030.pdf (gbtownship.ca)
Towel and bedding replacement fees apply – We ask all guests are respectful with the use of the provided linens. Please use provided makeup removal clothes.
Pets: only small dogs are allowed, please refer to the pet policy
Please leave the cottage the way you found it. Please wash your dishes and run dishwasher before checking out.
No illegal substances and use on the property
No open burning fires except for in designated fire pit locations. Observe local fire bans
No Fireworks – $500-$800 Fine
No glass permitted on dock or in hot tub. For safety we ask that no glass be used outside the cottage and deck area. Please bring beer cans not bottles if at all possible. Plastic cups are provided with your stay
No diving off the dock is permitted. It is too shallow off the end of the dock.
Garbage/Recycling Disposal- Please sort garbage and recycling properly in bins provided and place in the garage. We will be responsible to remove it from the island and dispose properly. Renter is responsible for cleaning up all garbage produced by them on the property prior to check out. Clean and empty all bins from every room and place in the garage.
